Greetings Colleagues and Friends!

Welcome to the newly updated website for Region III!!!

It was s a pleasure to host in Sunny Isles, Florida  the Annual Region III Meeting and Scientific Conference of the National Medical Association.  This year we will be combined our meeting with Region VI and the Florida State Medical Association.  We addressed our agenda, and gave back to the community with the pilot of  "Walk A Mile With A Child".  We are looking forward to everyone's coming to Region III and Atlanta for the National Convention July 26-31, 2008.    

This year is again especially special as our own region member, Nelson L. Adams III, M.D. is the current sitting National President. 

The future of NMA is charged and challenged with not only meeting, but also raising the bar for our physicians as well as physicians in the making to provide a medium where excellence may be recognized and fostered.  Also, it is our duty to increase our network and resources to promote improvement to the health of ourselves as well as the populations we serve and creating an environment to sustain physician viability in this changing health delivery environment.  This network must be strengthened by allowing opportunities for intuitive minds to be in the same room to share experiences and pearls of success, to allow us to discuss Tackling Challenges of Disparity Populations and Providing Viable Solutions.
